Yeni Yüzyıl University was established in 2009 by the Vatan Health and Education Foundation and opened its doors to students for the 2010-2011 academic year. As one of Turkey's youngest universities, Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University aims to provide a higher education environment that surpasses contemporary civilization levels.
