Warning TO ALL FOREIGNERS ⚠️ DO NOT APPLY IN THIS UNIVERSITY!!!!! The worst university in Turkey. Zero management, student affairs staff don't speak English fluently, and they treat foreigners very poorly. Their sole focus appears to be on making money. Plus, they lack a proper campus and 0 student life; it's reminiscent of attending high school. I strongly advise against applying to this university.

Hi! Hope your are fine and doing well, I have applied for Beykoz University, Now I received the offer to guarantee of seat, Is this real or fake just answer me please.

I paid 980 euros a year ago for the registration and everything. They told me that if I don't get a visa, they will pay me back. And my visa application was rejected and so far they haven't paid me back. I waited a long time for them to transfer the money to me, then I deleted my bank account and sent a new bank account and now they think they sent my money on the deleted bank account. if a bank account does not exist, you can transfer money to the account.

I'm still studying in Beykoz University but I HAVE TO EXPRESS MY DISAPPOINTMENT.Unfortunately,it accepts a lot of students from abroad but it doesn't have international students' friendly environment. From the side of teachers,of course they are trying to do their best to do their job.But in general, social life is very poor, local students have their restricted circles that foreign people can never be a part of.In the classes, students always ask question and speak a lot of Turkish, since local people are the major number of students, sometimes even explanations are made in turkish, which is a huge loss of time and I think unfair to foreign students who are coming to recieve classes fully in English.Of course,it doesn't apply to all courses. But there are no opportunities to grow from personal perspective and the university doesn't privelege you to any kinds of exclusive things. The library has very narrow selection of english books.Majority of books are in Turkish.Operations of foreign students' matters are very slow and regarded unprofessionally. For me university, had to feel like home, but it never did,of course with moral support of my foriegn and some turkish,my favorite professor Güray Hocam that has been the most friendly and positive all of the times, but unfortunately he retired. So,student that are coming here with high expectations,I wouldn't recommend it.Majority of social activities are also conducted in turkish and foreign students usually don't feel included. For example,I had to take dance classes and the teacher wasn't speaking English at all and all classes were conducted fully in Turkish.Students are not always friendly, even though, they say it is language barrier, but I think it is lack of kindness or friendliness towards us.Because,I have friends whose language I don't speak and many people who were my good friends even all we did was to communicate by gestures. All in all,I'm frustrated and sad, that languages and background can divide us and be the reason of coldness, rudeness and feeling of being excluded.
