Giresun University, located in the city center of Giresun, is a state university established in 2006. The university has a total student capacity of 25,500, including 81 international students. With its foundations dating back to 1962, GRÜ has a deep-rooted history. It offers a high-quality education program created in harmony with national culture and universal developments. The academic staff consists of educators who keep up with developments in their fields.
Why Giresun University? Located in the middle of the Black Sea Region, Giresun is accessible by air and road transport. The university's main campus is situated in the city center. According to the 2021 university report published by URAP, Giresun University has succeeded in entering the top 100 of Turkey's best universities and has continuously improved its ranking over the last three years.
