TOBB University of Economics and Technology was established in 2003 and commenced its operations in Ankara in 2004. The university is supported by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). Initially, the TOBB Education and Culture Foundation (TOBEV) was established by TOBB, followed by the creation of the university. TOBB ETU educates 5,827 students, including 33 international students, and envisions being a university that designs and directs the future. It aims to conduct innovative research in collaboration with the public and private sectors, contributing high value to the country.
Why TOBB University of Economics and Technology? The university is known for its spacious and airy campus. The campus features an Olympic swimming pool, indoor sports hall, dining hall, and dormitories. The university's academic year consists of three terms, two for academics and one for work experience, enabling most TOBB ETU students to complete their education in four years, including one year of work experience. TOBB's Co-op Education program allows students to gain experience in three different workplaces. The university also mandates two foreign language courses, ensuring graduates are proficient in two languages.
Ranked 32nd in the Times Higher Education (THE) Millennium Universities ranking, TOBB ETU is among the best universities in Turkey. In 2021, three students were included in the University Innovation Fellows (UIF) program managed by Stanford University. In the URAP 2021 report, the university ranked in the top 600 in two fields and the top 800 in another. The GARAJ project offers Leadership and Entrepreneurship courses to all students, with the most successful business ideas receiving up to 50,000 TL in financial support. Additionally, about 17% of students receive full scholarships, including free accommodation services.

This is one of the best Private University of Ankara in Turkey. I would like to study here. But it will be difficult to do for me because I'm from Bangladesh. This is one of the best uni. in Ankara. I visit the sports facilities as I've got a swimmer at home. The sports complex is big, of a very high standard and offers the opportunity to practice many sports - tennis, swimming, martial arts, basketball etc. Trainers can rent the premises for their sportspeople to train there.

Ankara Castle is a historical castle that has a history of 4 thousand years, which has survived for many centuries and makes history alive. Anıtkabir
It is the Monumental tomb of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkey’s first president. One of the most important reasons why the tomb is located here is his words of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk as ““This hill is what a beautiful memorial place” and ”How beautiful Ankara Castle looks from here”.
Ethnography Museum
Ethnography Museum is the first resting structure of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, which contains the most important works of time from since foundation of Seljuk state to the present day. This exhibition area welcomes its visitors with a statue of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, built by the Ministry of National Education. The works are lined up in Chronological order, and it is possible to travel in this way.
Hamamönü
It is an area of Ankara's old historical houses, restored by district municipality Hamamönü. With its renovated and restored restaurants, unique historic buildings, streets filled with cultural events and items, it welcomes visitors with spectacular cultural richness.
