Samsun University (SAMU) was established on May 18, 2018, and is the second state university in Samsun. The university currently has two campuses located in the Canik and Ballıca districts, both of which are rich in green spaces. With 3,540 registered students, SAMU is characterized as a boutique university, providing quality education with high standards through its strong academic staff. The university, defining the key to success as "hard work," promises its students opportunities for quality research and development activities. Embracing a universal vision with a critical and participatory approach, the university nurtures enterprising and confident students.

Why Samsun University?
The university conducts its academic activities in accordance with international standards, supporting students to adopt this perspective. To this end, numerous agreements have been signed with global universities under the Erasmus Plus student exchange program. SAMU hosts students from different countries, enabling its own students to explore new cultures. Similarly, students who succeed in foreign language exams organized by the university's international relations unit can continue their education abroad for a certain period.

SAMU stands out with its practices aimed at minimizing all potential challenges for disabled students, offering comprehensive psychological support and organizing orientation processes to help new students adapt to university life. Classes and exams are designed to accommodate the special conditions of disabled students, and the physical conditions of the campus are tailored to make their lives easier.

One of the university's distinguished services is its library, offering extensive literature reviews and resource access. Believing that knowledge is the most valuable treasure, the university has designed its library accordingly. It integrates evolving technology into the library system, allowing users to access resources online even outside the campus.

In 2020, the university's Aviation and Space Sciences Faculty students, "Tanyeli Rocket Team," won first place in the TEKNOFEST competition.

The facilities of the university include ATMs, a bank, a football field, security services, a cafeteria, a canteen, a stationery shop, a conference hall, a library, parking, student dormitories, a health center, a gym, free internet, on-campus transportation, a dining hall, a walking track, a swimming pool, and an accessible campus. These amenities provide comprehensive opportunities for both education and social life, enhancing the quality of education at SAMU.

It's like a labyrinth between laboratories and clinics, or rather the building is a very complex complex, so a hospital like this cannot be imagined, an urgent solution needs to be found for this. Patients are wasting a lot of time, the patient's time is very important, please, dear chief physician, and the provincial health directorate on this issue. This is a very serious and urgent situation. It should be made more effective and functional, this hospital has been like this for a long time.

There are not many negative aspects except that it is far from the city and lack of activity opportunities. The teachers run after all your problems and the students are never treated as second-class citizens.

They built a school and dormitory at the top of the mountain. It is away from the noise of the city but it is difficult for social activities. Those who only want to go to school can prefer it.

Beautiful campus. However, you need to get good directions when you first come. Navigation takes you astray.
