Osmaniye Korkut Ata University was established as a state university in Osmaniye on May 29, 2007. The vision of the university is to become a leading institution capable of competing at an international level, by continuously fostering university-industry-society collaboration with its qualified human resources. Despite its relatively short history, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University aims to become one of the significant centers of science and research in the Mediterranean Region and Turkey in the coming years.

The campus is beautiful. It seemed as if the number of students increased even more after the earthquake. Osmaniye Vocational School is also waiting for repairs due to the destruction it suffered in the earthquake.

Geographical Location:  Osmaniye is located in the east of Mediterranean Region. It is surrounded by Gaziantep in the east, Hatay in the south, Adana in the west and Kahramanmaraş in the north.

Osmaniye City Museum

This area, which was used as Çamlık Facilities before 1960, was later transformed into a Osmaniye City Museum. Two lions at the entrance of the museum symbolize the Hittite period.

Kastabala Ancient City

The ancient city of Kastabala, which is located in Bahçeköy, has survived until today. There are tombs, churches and hammams in the historic city, which is in a very good condition.
