Avrasya University, established in 2010 by the Maçka Educational, Cultural, and Social Services Foundation in Trabzon, Turkey, stands out as the first foundation university in the Black Sea Region to start admitting students. With its inception, the university began its educational activities with 6 faculties, 2 colleges, and 1 vocational school. Opening its doors to students in the 2011-2012 academic year, Avrasya University aims to become one of Turkey's significant centers for science and research in the coming years.
