Balıkesir University, established on July 11, 1992, has a rich history. Located in the city center of Balıkesir, the university hosts 37,250 students. Additionally, there are about 850 international students enrolled. Situated in the south of the Marmara region, both the province of Balıkesir and the university campuses offer all the necessary social amenities to students. The university has two main campuses: Çağış Campus, located near the city, and Nef Campus in the city center.
