Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) was established on March 31, 2015, in the Alanya district of Antalya. In a short time, ALKÜ has developed into a comprehensive educational institution, hosting 10 faculties, 5 vocational schools, and 1 institute. The university educates 11,278 students, including 528 international students.

In 2022, ALKÜ signed a cooperation agreement with two university hospitals in Russia, marking its significant role in international health tourism. Alanya University is among the rapidly developing universities in Turkey. It has also gained attention in the fields of art, design, and architecture, with its art works being digitized in 2022.

The university boasts 65 student clubs, which play a significant role in enhancing students' social and entrepreneurial skills. The International Relations Office provides support to students interested in participating in the Erasmus exchange program, and orientation programs are organized for new enrollments.

In terms of technological facilities, the university offers free wireless internet (eduroam) and programs like Office 365 to its students. The central life center and dining hall of the university serve all students, academic staff, and administrative personnel.

ALKÜ is also known for its scientific research, notably studying the effects of boric acid on cancer cell lines, contributing significantly to the scientific community. Joining the Turkish Universities Association in 2021, the university participates in the Orhun Exchange Program, facilitating student exchanges among member universities from six countries.

The campus includes various amenities like ATMs, banks, football fields, security, cafeterias, canteens, stationeries, conference halls, libraries, parking, student dormitories, health centers, sports halls, free internet, internal transportation, dining halls, walking trails, swimming pools, and an accessible campus environment.
