Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University (AFSÜ), one of Turkey's significant health education institutions, was established on May 18, 2018, after separating from Afyon Kocatepe University. This university aims to train qualified health personnel, conduct scientific studies in health, and contribute to health technology and pharmaceutical production. Despite being a young university, AFSÜ is one of the rare institutions with well-established faculties.
The university comprises four faculties, three vocational schools, and a graduate institute, where future doctors, dentists, specialist physicians, specialist dentists, and other health professionals are trained. Geographically advantaged, AFSÜ is located in Afyonkarahisar, a junction point in Western Anatolia, rich in geothermal resources, transportation facilities, natural flora, and accommodation facilities.
At AFSÜ's Health Research and Application Center, treatment methods for human health are applied in the light of current scientific data. Additionally, the university's GETAT Center practices in the scope of traditional and complementary medicine.
The campus features include ATMs, banks, a football field, security services, cafeterias, canteens, stationery stores, a conference hall, a library, parking, student dormitories, a health center, a gym, free internet, internal university transportation, a dining hall, walking tracks, a swimming pool, and facilities for a barrier-free campus. These diverse amenities ensure that AFSÜ offers a rich experience in both education and social life.

Doctors and assistants are very nice and helpful. However, I cannot say the same about the staff and cleanliness. It is absolutely very bad especially in terms of cleaning and should be constantly checked. Toilets suck. No soap, napkins, paper towels. Beds stink. That's why I deducted 1 point.

I don't say anything to the young doctors, but the friends at the box office, who are more royalist than the king, do not know how to talk to people (especially the gentleman whose name is Özkan if I am not mistaken in the physical therapy part) and the treatment process is so long that I had my first examination on April 4, 2023. they said in 3 months the report came out but I forgot where it hurts
