KTO Karatay University, established in 2009, is the second university in Konya and also the city's first foundation university. Offering academic experiences to students since the 2010-2011 academic year, the university continues to develop as one of Turkey's youngest universities. Considered a modern continuation of the Karatay Madrasah, the university embraces the madrasah's mission and aims to produce graduates familiar with the industry through its practice-oriented educational program.
The university's facilities include ATMs, a bank, a football field, security services, a cafeteria, a canteen, a stationery store, a conference hall, a library, parking, student dormitories, a health center, a gym, free internet, on-campus transportation, a dining hall, a walking track, a swimming pool, and an accessible campus. With these amenities, KTO Karatay University aims to provide a modern and comprehensive educational infrastructure for its students.

KONYA
Konya Province is located in the south of the Central Anatolia Region in the middle of the Anatolian Peninsula. City is the province with the largest surface area in Turkey. Located close to the city center, Çatalhöyük is known as the oldest and most advanced Neolithic period settlement ever discovered. Konya was known as “Iconium” during the Roman Empire period. It has been the capital of the Seljuk Empire in the 12th and 13th centuries and is one of Turkey's largest cultural centers.
