Hakkari University was established in 2008 following the transfer of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering, which were previously affiliated with Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, to Hakkari University. Named after the Hakkari province in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, which has hosted many civilizations, Hakkari University is among the young and developing universities.

It is an extremely private government office where, as a university student, I cannot reach the student affairs office or the switchboard until 11-12 noon on official business days. As a university, it is a place qualified only from reinforced concrete; it has nothing to do with the operating standards of other state universities. In winter, Alaska is like a research laboratory. When you visit, you will see how high-level the university is with its campus and location architecture. H.Ü IS REGRET.

This is the university rectorate, but the top floor of Hakkari has been turned into a guesthouse due to the lack of housing. Price per person per night is 35₺ for academic staff and 40₺ for civil servants. (Including breakfast) It is far from the city center, if you do not have a car, you may have some problems in transportation. Bedrooms are okay for the price. It is in a much better condition than the hotel I paid 200₺ in the center. At least there is a quiet Hakkari view.

Hakkâri Province is located in the Eastern Anatolia region, which contains 1/5 of the territory of Turkey. It is surrounded by Turkey-Iran border in the east and Turkey-Iraq state border in the south. The altitude of the province, which is surrounded by high mountains, is above 2000 meters. There are many several low and high mountains in Hakkâri which is under the influence of South East Taurus mountain range. Mountains covering a large part of the total area of the province corresponds to 87.6% of the provincial area.

Uluabat Lake
It is located in Hakkâri province. There are villages and ruins from ancient history around this lake, which is almost like a paradise. It has both historical and natural beauties.
Meydan Madrasah
Although not certain, it is thought that the Madrasah was made by İbrahim Bey, who is the son of İzeet, one of the government administrators. The Madrasah, which was repaired in 1984, maintains its existence in a very stable manner today.
