TOKAT

Tokat, with the advantage of fertile soils of Yeşilırmak River Basin,  it has been an important trade and cultural center throughout the 6000-year history. This province is an important Anatolian city with 14 States and many Principalities in the past. Tokat is surrounded by Samsun in the north, Ordu in the northeast, Sivas in the south, Yozgat in the southwest and Amasya in the west. Zile is the largest district of the city with 11 districts. It has a bumpy structure.

Tokat Castle

It is an ancient castle in Tokat province, where there is a lot of historical riches. The castle is located on a hill in the center of Tokat. There is no information about the builder and age of this castle, which has been preserved by its majesty despite hundreds of years.

Gök Madrasah

By examining the foundation records; it was discovered that Gök Madrasah was used as a Hospital (Şifahane) in ancient times. Among the people, it is known as Kırkkızlar Madrasah, Bimarhane and Darüşşifa.
