SAKARYA
Geographic region of Sakarya Province is located on migration routes where various tribes have passed since the earliest ages. Sakarya province is under the influence of climatic conditions in Black Sea and Marmara region. Black Sea climate is seen on the Black Sea coast and east of the city, and the Marmara region climate is seen in the west and the south. The economy of Sakarya is based on agriculture and industry. 65% of the active population works in the agricultural sector, 15% in the industrial sector and the rest in other sectors. It is a rapidly evolving province of Turkey.
