Edirne Selimiye Mosque

Selimiye Mosque is a mosque that has become the symbol of Edirne. The mosque was built by Mimar Sinan during Ottoman period by Sultan Selim II. It is among the most important works of Mimar Sinan, one of the most important architects. Selimiye Mosque, which was temporarily listed by UNESCO in 2004, was registered as a World Heritage in 2011.

Kırkpınar Wrestling Square

Turkish Nation is known as a warrior nation and wrestling is a national sport, which continues from the old times to the present day. The wrestling sport initiated by the Ottoman Empire has come to the present day and still continues.

Üç Şerefeli Mosque

It is a historic mosque built between 1443 and 1447 by Sultan Murat II. It is located among the most popular mosques of Edirne, famous for its mosques.  The mosque contains Ottoman early and classical period features.
