BURDUR
Burdur is located in the inner part of the Mediterranean Region, and in the area called Region of Lakes. It is surrounded by Antalya in the south, Denizli to the west, Muğla to the southwest, Isparta to the east and north, and Afyon provinces.

Burdur in the Western Mediterranean Region, known as the Cultural Capital of the Teke Region, is known as the Land of the Lakes, the Roses and the Hearts. Salda Lake
It is located in the district of Yeşilova, one of the most beautiful districts of Burdur, four kilometers from the town and 75 kilometers from the city center. Salda Lake, one of the natural formations of Turkey, is one of the two places in the world that show the same formation as the surface properties of Mars.
Burdur Archaeological Museum
Located in Burdur, which has a very rich history, this museum is surrounded by the treasures of culture and history. The museum was founded in 1963 and new development halls were added in 1992; later on new conference rooms were added. In 2001, the administration building was renovated and presented to visitors. The museum contains works of ancient Romans.
