BİLECİK

Bilecik is located on the intersection points of the Marmara, Black Sea, Central Anatolia and Aegean Regions in the south-east of the Marmara Region. The oldest known names of the province are Agrilion and Belekoma. Bilecik is in the territory where the Ottoman Empire was born. Established around the River of Sakarya and known by the wealth of ponds and streams, the region carries traces of history from ancient times to the present day.

Atatürk Pavilion

Located in a forest, Atatürk Pavilion is located 22 kilometers away from Bozüyük district. It is a remarkable civilian architecture in greenery. In 1930, when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk came to visit Bilecik, he was hosted in this mansion and he loved this lodge.

Ertuğrul Gazi

Ertuğrul Gazi Tomb is the tomb of Osman Gazi, who is the founder of the Ottoman Seigniory, and the tomb of Seljuk Seignior Ertuğrul Gazi in the town of Söğüt in Bilecik province.

Metristepe Victory Monument

Metristepe Victory Monument located in Bozhöyük is a 24 meter high reinforced concrete building commemorating our soldiers who were martyred in the Battle of İnönü. The monument contains information about the troops and the commanders involved in the war. Memorial ceremonies are held every year in front of the monument.
