DENİZLİ

Denizli Province is located in Aegean region. Denizli is the largest city in Aegean region after İzmir, with its central population exceeding 500 thousand. Ancient City of Tripolis

Located within the borders of Buldan District, this ancient city is approximately 40 km away from the city center of Denizli. First name of the ancient city of Tripolis, known to belong to Lydian Period, was known as Apollonia. The name was changed to Tripolis in the Hellenistic period.
